What is
B Global Talent?
A recruitment program connecting international STEM talent with leading companies in Bizkaia.
Powered by Mondragon Team Academy and Bizkaia Provincial Council, you’ll develop innovative solutions to real challenges from local companies through online training and mentorship, with the possibility of implementing your solution on-site in Bilbao for three months.
Upon completion, you’ll earn an University Extension Diplomafrom Mondragon University, certifying your competencies in innovation and leadership.

How does this work?
CALL & SELECTION
February - March 2025
We open applications for young STEM professionals from around the world interested in working on technology projects with companies in Bizkaia.
ONLINE TRAINING & CHALLENGES
May - July 2026 | 2 months online
Specialized online training where participants work on innovative solutions to real challenges from Bizkaia companies. Upon completation you will receive 8 ECTS.
EVALUATIONS & PRESENTATIONS
July 2026
Companies evaluate proposals and meet participants. After the evaluation process, 20 participants will be selcted for in-company work.
IN-COMPANY WORK
September - December 2026 | 3 months on-site
You’ll integrate into the selected company for 3 months in Bilbao to work on-site with the internal team for implementing your solution.
CERTIFICATION & CLOSING
December 2026
Participants receive a University Extension Diploma certified by Mondragon University with 40 ECTS credits, officially validating their experience.
Who can participate?
We’re looking for young professionals aged 18-35, both national and international, with an interest in tackling technological challenges.
Education
University degree or professional training in STEM areas.
Age & Origin
Between 18-35 years old. Open to any country worldwide.
Availability
Ability to travel to Bilbao for the 3-month on-site period.
Companies in the territory of Bizkaia with technology-based challenges. Companies from all over Bizkaia that are working on technology-based challenges will take part in this edition. The companies can be from different sectors and of different sizes, seeking diversity of participation and challenges for a greater impact on the environment and the economy in Bizkaia.

Is the program free?
Yes, B Global Talent is a recruiting program in collaboration with the Bizkaia Provincial Council. All program expenses are covered by this public organization.
Are travel expenses covered?
Yes! All travel expenses to Bilbao are covered by the program. We’ll arrange your flights and transportation for the on-site phases.
Do I need a visa to participate?
If you need a visa to come to Spain, we’ll support you through the visa application process. Many of our participants come from the Global South and we have experience helping them obtain the necessary documentation.
Will accommodation be provided?
During the 3-month on-site work period (September-December), you’ll receive a monthly grant to cover your accommodation and living expenses in Bilbao.
What qualifications do I need?
You need a university degree or professional training college degree in STEM areas. You can be in the final months of your degree. A degree issued in any country is valid.
Will I receive a scholarship?
Yes, during the 3-month on-site work period (September-December), you’ll receive a monthly grant to cover your living expenses in Bilbao.
When can I apply?
Applications open in February 2026. The sooner you register, the more chances you’ll have to be selected. The selection process runs through March 2026.
